Lazy, hazy days of summer. Highlights from last two weeks include numerous bike rides and a trip to NYC for the
Bicycle Film Festival. I was thrilled to have a speaking part in the 2010 Bilenky Junkyard Cross film. OK, it was only one line, but it was integral to the story and really captured Ryan Dudek's character. So, you're welcome.

This is not the version that was entered in the festival, but it does contain my favorite scene of the boy yelling, "Come on mom, you're holding everyone up!" as I struggle in the front.

Other highlights included Keswick's Ladies demo day. I mad out like a bandit in the raffle. But of course I am the
Raffle Queen.

For a non-cycling event, we attended my colleague and friend Iain's book launch at the Raven Bar on Sansom Street. Hearing him read from his poetry collection
Spit Back a Boy gave me chills and was moved to tears several times. Yes, people, poetry can be magnificent, moving, and surprising. Well done, Iain!
