My New Hero

Perhaps it was running into John Mutone at the Philly Bike race.  Or spending too much time battling Hoover on FaceCrack.  Or the general disgust I've harbored for authority since I was in Catholic school and a nun shamed me for having my shirt untucked during recess.  Whatever the reason, the following Public Service Announcement fills me with glee:
Thank you citizen Neistat!

Philadelphia has the same problems with bike lanes and I'm beginning to think they're not such a hot idea. I think they invite hostility instead of encourage sharing. What do you think?

I was hit by a car in the bike lane on pine street the day after DiCicco introduced something about requiring bicycles to have license plates and banning fixed gears.

But that was two years ago and I haven't had many problems since. I like the bike lanes on Pine and Spruce... it is the most relaxing part of my commute. Elk complains though that too many people jog in the bike lane.
